While the main fair focuses on new work by living artists, an extension (at Pier 92) specializes in modern and secondary market material. There are well over 200 exhibitors in total representing galleries and dealers from around the world. The opening night (on Wednesday, March 3rd) is hosted by MoMA and includes special viewing hours at the fair followed by a huge party (with live performance by The Walkmen) at the Museum.
